In plain words, not lawyer words.
Who holds this, and how to reach them
The database is held by SaloBoss By Shanti, business number 301690202, P.O. Box 475, Eilabun 1697200, Israel. Anything at all to do with your details — a question, a correction, a request to see what we hold or to erase it — goes to info@saloboss.com and reaches a person, not a queue.
Whose data it actually is
A salon's customer list belongs to that salon, not to us. The salon decides what to collect and what to erase; we only hold it and make it work, on the salon's instructions. If you are a customer of a salon and you want your details changed or removed, ask the salon first — they can do it themselves in one tap. Ask us and we will pass it on and make sure it happens.
We never sell your customer list
Not to a marketing company, not to another salon, not to anybody, for any price. Your customers' names, numbers, formulas and visits are yours. We hold them so the app can work, and for nothing else.
What we keep
What you type into the app: your salon's details, your staff, your services and prices, your customers and their visits, and the messages the bot exchanged with them. That is what the app is made of — without it there is no calendar and no memory.
Who can see it
You, and whoever you gave the passcode to. Nobody browses your salon for fun. We look at your data only when you ask us to help with a problem — and we tell you when we do.
The bot and your messages
To answer a client, the bot has to read what they wrote and what your salon offers. Those messages are processed by an AI provider on our behalf, under a contract that forbids them from using your data to train their own models. Your salon does not become somebody else's product.
Nothing is quietly erased
Delete a client and they go to the bin, not to nowhere — one tap brings them back with their visits and their formulas. Cancellations and changes are kept permanently, with the date and the reason, so you can always prove what happened.
Taking it all with you
Ask, and we hand you your data — customers, bookings, formulas, the lot. Ask us to erase your salon entirely and we will, and then it really is gone.
Your rights over your own details
Israeli privacy law gives you three rights and we honour all three: to SEE what we hold about you, to CORRECT anything wrong, and to have it ERASED. Write to info@saloboss.com and we answer within 30 days — that is the law's deadline and we do not use all of it. We will never charge you for asking, and we will never make you explain why.
Where it physically sits
On servers in Frankfurt, inside the EU, under European data-protection rules — not scattered around the world. A short list of companies handle pieces of it strictly on our behalf: Neon (the database), Vercel (the servers), Anthropic and OpenAI (the bot that writes the replies), Meta (WhatsApp delivery), Resend (email), Z-Credit (card payments — they see the card, we never do). Nobody else. Each one is bound by contract to use it only to provide their service to us.
If something ever leaks
If data ever escapes — a break-in, a mistake, anything — we tell you. Not eventually: within 72 hours of finding out, in plain words, saying what got out and what we did about it. Serious incidents also go to the Privacy Protection Authority, as the law requires. We would rather tell you about a small scare than have you learn about a big one from somebody else.
How long we keep it
For as long as the salon is a customer of ours, because that is what the calendar and the customer history are FOR. Close a salon's account and its data is erased within 90 days — long enough to change your mind, short enough that we are not sitting on a list nobody uses. Invoices and payment records are the exception: tax law obliges us to keep those seven years.
