Behind it: 🔒 the app lock, 🔣 the tab-strip mode, 🎨 the theme, 🌐 the language and ⚙️ Manage. On a wide screen they lay themselves flat on the bar instead — same five, no menu.
Tip WhatsApp and 🔔 notifications are deliberately NOT in here. They carry counts, and a count you have to open a menu to see is not a count.
