Two buttons on that bar refuse to go behind the ☰, and this is one of them.

A badge you have to open a menu to find is not a badge. WhatsApp and 🔔 notifications are the two things a waiting customer can be behind, so they keep a permanent seat on the bar while the other five tools fold away.
